A lot of people ask us, "what does 'Fa.real' mean?" The answer is simple, it means whatever you want it to mean to you.

For us, it started as a simple illustration and graphics business by artist and founder Allister Thomas back in 1997. His mother came up with the name simply because it describes Allister's unique personality and his artistic street style. His younger brother paid to have the first Fa.real t-shirt made to promote the business in his school. In the next few months, more promotional wear was being produced as business increased. Soon Fa.real had a large collection of promo t-shirts, caps, and basketball jersey's that was up for sale by 2000 and the Fa.real Clothing Collection was born.

"Fa.real became an opportunity for our team to break free from the jobs we hate, and create something cool and meaningful for other people to enjoy. That's what it basically means to us...creative development." - Allister Thomas.

Fa.real gradually evolved to become one of the first t-shirt collections that endorses true 100% self-representation. Using graphics and illustrations inspired by the 90's hip hop BOOM BAP era, Fa.real has established its own look of artistic urban simplicity and a nostalgic retro feel that stands out from the common overdone street styles.

So now you know what it means from us. What does Fa.real mean to YOU?
